Description: Global Vision International offers a unique opportunity to earn a BTEC certification while you study and work hands on in the rainforests of Ecuador. Join a 5 or 10 week expedition and learn the techniques behind supervising biological surveys. The BTEC is a level 3 Advanced Certificate that should leave you confident to plan and manage safe and efficient survey teams in the field.

BTEC Course in Ecuador in Biological Survey Techniques

Highlights:
- Intensive in-camp training
- Gain basic knowledge of the environment
- Experience the tropical rainforest
- Spend nights camping out in the rainforest
- Set photo-trapping equipment
- Enjoy wildlife observation from the river
- Assist on nocturnal frog and mammal surveys
- Discover rare and possibly new species
- Learn bush skills and rainforest ecology
- Explore different parts of the Amazon
- Work with and train local students
- Participate in jungle survival
- Learn how to navigate in the forest
