Description: Spanish Language Immersion for college students and adults at International House in Palma de Mallorca.

The city of Palma is a fitting capital, not only of Mallorca, but also of the Balearic islands. Set in the beautiful bay of Palma, famous for its stunning sunsets, the city's most imposing site is the huge 13th century cathedral. This beautiful building is close to the 10th century Arab baths- and the gateway to the city's old quarter of narrow winding streets and ornate squares where orange and olive trees give shade to the many charming street cafes.

International House Palma de Mallorca (IH Palma) has recently moved into a large, elegant building in the very center of the old city, on the Plaza de Cort, immediately opposite City Hall. The Plaza de Cort is one of the city's oldest, busiest and most attractive squares. Apart from the elegance and grandeur of its buildings, the square also contains an extraordinarily beautiful olive tree, which is said to be several centuries old. IH Palma occupies one of the most prestigious buildings on the square.

The school has its own street level entrance and reception from where students can take an elevator or the stairs up to the classrooms. The school occupies all 4 floors of the building and has 15 air-conditioned classrooms, as well as a number of offices and recreational areas, including a computer lab which students are able to use either before or after class.
