Highlights:
Sydney is one of the most beautiful urban areas in the world. Students begin each program with a sunset cruise around the Harbor so students can see some of the main attractions of the city and orient themselves. In and around the city there is more than enough to keep busy. Each year students enjoy a play or opera at the Sydney Opera House, surf or boogie-board at the world-famous beaches at Manly or Bondi, visit some of the many, many pubs that dot the city and its environs, and sample an incredibly wide variety of international cuisine. Australia is an exciting and dynamic country which is one of the easiest in the world to travel around; everyone speaks English and you will find most Australians to be friendly and eager to help you enjoy their country. From the spectacular coastline of the East to the vast outback, to the rainforests of the North, Australia offers opportunities that simply do not exist anywhere else in the world. Its unique wildlife, from the ubiquitous cockatoos and gallahs, to emus, kangaroos, and koalas, is visible everywhere.
