The Florence Institute offers architecture courses that teach drawing and observational skills plus a general overview of Italian architectural theory and history. The course is an introduction to basic architectural principals. Exploration of elementary building concepts, form, surface, and space. Basic understanding of the urban context and how elements of the city relates. On site observational analysis. Developing basic sketching and drafting skills in various media. A majority of the course is conducted "on site" where students can learn directly from the architectural works.
