Description: Studying abroad in Asia with AsiaLearn will be the educational adventure of a lifetime. Imagine yourself immersed in the vibrant cultures and customs of the East as you witness unprecedented growth of Asian economic giants and their impact on the future of our global economy.

AsiaLearn offers a semester or summer abroad at Korea University, one of the largest, most selective, and historic universities in Korea. Korea University offers a variety of courses in all professional fields and over 40% are taught in English. Korean language instruction is offered every semester with six different levels available from beginner to advanced.

All AsiaLearn semester/year abroad programs include an in-country Bridging Cultures Program, 24 on-site support services through a Resident Coordinator, survival language instruction, buddy program, optional travel excursion, and comprehensive services before, during, and after your semester/year abroad.

AsiaLearn - Semester or Year Abroad at Korea University

Highlights: No language requirement.

Each semester students are invited to participate in a variety of optional affordable excursions organized by the AsiaLearn Resident Coordinator. Each activity is designed to be fun and educational so that students gain a deeper appreciation for the arts, culture, and history. Examples include:

* Visit to the De-Militarized Zone (DMZ)
* Korean Folk Village
* Korean Opera
* Historic temples

Cost in US$: 7,025 USD + housing

Cost Include Description:
Program Fees are in US dollars and include tuition for 12-16 credits, on-campus student fees, official transcript, overseas health coverage, airport pick up charges, introductory survival language training, in-country AsiaLearn Bridging Cultures Program, pre-trip services such as: orientation materials, visa-processing service and fee, personal advising, subject selections, liaison with your home university, credit transfer assistance, financial aid services, and alumni support. Fees are based on the Spring 2010 semester and are subject to change.
