Description: Direct enrollment in the University of Bologna. Courses are taught in Italian. Applicants must have completed at least three semesters of Italian at the university level.

Highlights: Seven week pre-term program which includes two Brown-taught courses in Italian language and Contemporary Culture and Literature. Excursions to nearby cities are also conducted during the pre-term session.
