Description: The School for Overseas Students at Tel Aviv University offers accomplished international students the opportunity to learn Hebrew and take college level courses in English for full academic credit while immersed in Israeli culture.

Students may enroll in Tel Aviv Universitys semester or yearlong study abroad program either independently or through their home school. In addition, qualified high school seniors may apply to spend their first semester or year at Tel Aviv University.

Highlights: Located in Israel's cultural, financial and industrial heartland, Tel Aviv University is the largest university in Israel and the biggest Jewish university in the world. It is a major center of teaching and research, comprised of nine faculties, 106 departments and 90 research institutes.

Tel Aviv University's curriculum includes contemporary and historical Jewish issues; Israeli politics, society, culture and literature; Islamic studies; the Arab-Israeli conflict; Israeli economics; geology; sociobiology; international relations; philosophy; and Hebrew language studies.
