AIFS Summer Study Abroad in Florence, Italy
Italy
Term: Summer
Dates: May - June
Description:
Florence is an exciting place to live and study. The compact city center puts the history, art and architecture of the Renaissance right at your doorstep. Be a part of the community, not just a tourist, living in your own Florentine apartment or home and enjoying restaurants and cafes throughout the city with your AIFS meal vouchers. Explore Italy's artistic heritage with cultural activities, such as visits to museums, art galleries and monuments. AIFS students take courses taught in English in art history, history, literature, music, sociology, and studio art, plus Italian language. Transfer of credits is through the sponsoring institution, Richmond, The American International University in London, a U.S.-accredited university. Richmond's study center is a restored 16th-century palace close to the Ponte Vecchio. It has classrooms, a student lounge and reading room, and computer labs. AIFS fees include the basics and the extras: tuition, housing, some meals, London visit, excursions and cultural activities, airfare if selected, trips to Venice and Rome, and more.
Highlights:
