AIFS Summer Study Abroad in Cannes, France
France
Term: Summer
Dates: June-August
Description:
Cannes is a sunny, former fishing village perched on the Mediterranean shoreline. Renowned for its artistic community and its international festivals, Cannes combines the cosmopolitan aura of a small city with the relaxed attitude of a seaside resort. At College International de Cannes, AIFS students take classes in French language, plus non-credit cultural enrichment activities. Fees include the basics and the extras: tuition, housing in a College residence hall, meals, cultural activities, round trip airfare if selected, services of a Resident Director, and more.
Highlights:
The University campus has modern facilities and is situated within walking distance to the Old Port and city center. Enjoy a cup of coffee at many local cafes or enjoy an art exhibit at a local museum. AIFS students live in College residence halls, and meals at the College cafeteria are included. Cultural activities include walking tours, sports, excursions to nearby resorts, visits to museums and art galleries, and wine-tasting. The program begins with a 2-day London visit, and there is an optional 3-day visit to Paris. An on-site Resident Director coordinates the program.
