Description: Studying abroad in Asia with AsiaLearn will be the educational adventure of a lifetime. Imagine yourself immersed in the vibrant cultures and customs of the East as you witness unprecedented growth of Asian economic giants and their impact on the future of our global economy.

AsiaLearn offers a semester or summer abroad at Swinburne University of Technology in Kuching, Malaysia. Malaysia is a place of delicious food, exciting adventures, friendly people, and breathtaking scenery. It is home to the oldest rainforest in the world as well as colorful reefs, empty beaches, unique rock formations, and fantastic wildlife.

The university offers courses in business and engineering as well as Malaysian culture. All courses are taught in English, and numerous excursions to surrounding national parks, caves, hot springs, and the capital city of Kuala Lumpur are also available.

    SEMESTER: Program Fees are in US dollars and include tuition for 12-16 credits, on-campus student fees, official transcript, overseas health coverage, airport pick up charges, introductory survival language training, in-country AsiaLearn Bridging Cultures Program, some excursions during the semester, and pre-trip services such as: orientation materials, visa-processing service and fee, housing placements, personal advising, subject selections, liaison with your home university, credit transfer assistance, financial aid services, and alumni support. The above fees are for the Spring 2010 term and are subject to change.

    SUMMER: Program Fees are in US dollars and include tuition, accommodation, some excursions, on-campus student fees, official transcript, overseas health coverage, airport pick up charges, introductory survival language training, and pre-trip services such as: orientation materials, visa-processing service and fee, personal advising, subject selections, liaison with your home university, credit transfer assistance, financial aid services, and alumni support. International airfare between your home city and Kuching is not included and MEALS ARE NOT INCLUDED. This fee applies to the Summer 2010 program and is subject to change.
