Description: The Swedish Program at Stockholm University is committed to challenging its students intellectually and culturally. The challenge of intercultural education is to learn about the institutions and people of a different society as you gain a better understanding of your own country and yourself. The distinctive features of the Program--our curricular focus, high academic standards, commitment to cultural integration, and small size--effectively promote this multifaceted learning experience.

The Swedish Program

Highlights: The Swedish Program is located at Stockholm University which is a major and well respected research institution. Swedish Program students are registered Stockholm University students and have access to all University facilities and events. Stockholm University has a very international student body and is located on a beautiful park only 15 minutes by subway from downtown Stockholm. All courses are taught in English. Interdisciplinary and comparative curriculum. Study visits and cultural expeditions. Opportunity to live with either a host family or in private apartments. Students who elect private apartments also have the opportunity to have a 'contact family' in Sweden.
