Description: Since 1950, IES Abroad has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES Abroad offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in almost 80 programs throughout the world.

London is a city in which theater matters, making it a natural study abroad destination for Theater and Drama students. Home to the National Theater, Shakespeare's Globe, the West End Theater district, and a vibrant fringe theater scene, the London theater world is diverse and well-established. The IES Abroad London Theater Studies program gives you the opportunity to engage with London's various theatrical traditions as spectator, writer, performer, or worker.

The IES Abroad London Center, situated in central London in an elegant, 18th-century Georgian terrace building, is a two-minute walk from the British Museum. Located in Bloomsbury, the heart of literary London, IES Abroad London is in close proximity to the West End theater district and within easy access of the city's many excellent fringe theater venues. The Center's prime location makes it a perfect home base from which to experience theater in London through hands-on field study opportunities and internships.

With its world-class venues and central place in the history of Western drama and literature, London is the perfect location for theater students. IES Abroad has developed a unique program that is ideal for examining drama, theater, literature, and creative writing within the context of London and the U.K.
