Description:
Discover the spectacular landscapes and ecology of the oldest desert in the world, the Namib; spend one day at the coast on adventure tourism activities; track desert elephants in Damaraland; study the magnificent diversity of wildlife in the world famous Etosha National Park; and learn more about cheetah conservation, human-wildlife conflict, savanna ecology and game ranching at the Cheetah Conservation Fund.
Highlights:
Program highlights are Windhoek, the capital of Namibia; the Namib, the oldest desert in the world with its unique fauna and flora; Swakopmund and its adventure activities along the Atlantic Coast; elephant tracking in Damaraland; the large diversity of bird and wildlife in the world famous Etosha National Park; and cheetah conservation at the Cheetah Conservation Fund.

Students must have completed at least one course at college level in Wildlife Sciences, Ecology, Zoology, Conservation Biology, Natural Resources, Rangeland Management, Forestry, Botany, Biology, Environmental Science, Tourism or related field.
