Description:
International Programs offers this exclusive program as an integral part of the universitys MFA in Professional Writing program. The intensive study abroad experience allows students to spend two weeks over spring break in London working with an established British playwright. The program is based at the FSU London Study Centre, which is located in the heart of Londons West End Theatreland. Students experience several theatre productions throughout their stay. Every day, the rich past and exciting present of London constantly intertwine for students. A few minutes from the center lie the West End (Londons major theatre district), Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, and the National Gallery. The esteemed British Museum is only one block away. Eligibility: The program is open to students in the MFA in Professional Writing program. Housing: Students stay in furnished apartments in the FSU London Study Centre or in comparable accommodations within central London.
