Students interested in learning more about the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia can take advantage of this program based at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, just outside of Seoul. Seoul -- the capital of South Korea and the second most populous metropolitan area in the world provides the backdrop for exploring political institutions, emerging democracies, foreign policy, security issues, business environment, and cultural development throughout the region.
Highlights:
Excursions complement the curriculum and provide an insight into Korean culture and history. Students visit a national folk village; cultural, shopping, and architecturally traditional districts of Seoul; and historically significant areas including Changduk Palace. Students also have chances to watch various cultural performances.
