This multi-disciplinary program integrates the social science disciplines of geography, sociology, political science, economics and law with natural science. The program is designed to introduce students to the complexities of development processes and problems in the Mekong region that result from the impact of changes in cultural and political movements, government legislation, economic and trade relations, resource use and health issues. The program spends the first three weeks in northern Thailand based at Chiang Mai University then travels through Vietnam and Laos, finishing in Cambodia. Courses: 1.
