Description: Since 1950, IES has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in almost 30 programs throughout the world.

The IES Milan Summer program offers beginning and intermediate level courses designed to give students the opportunity to begin Italian language studies or improve their existing Italian language skills while immersing themselves in Italian culture and civilization. All students enroll in one language course (four credits) and one English-taught area studies course (three credits) for a total of seven credits for the summer. The summer program is an ideal pre-session for the IES Milan fall and full-year programs, see for more information.

Highlights: * Beginning and intermediate Italian language courses.
* IES area studies courses in Italian Studies (Futurism), Music History and Political Science, taught in English.
* Field trips to places of historical and cultural interest in and around Milan.
