Surrounded by pre-Romanesque monuments, the gothic cathedral of San Salvador, and the 400-year-old University of Ovideo, discover one of the most culturally significant regions in Spain. Hike, ski, or relax on the beach just a short trip from the city center. Experience the historic architectural sites as well as the contemporary music concerts, theater, and exhibitions. Language classes take place at the Curso de Lengua y Cultura EspaƱolas para Extranjeros (ELE) on the university campus. Immerse yourself in Spanish language, culture, and history.

What will you study? Ideal for intermediate- and advanced-level Spanish students, this program appeals to students from many disciplines through curricula in history, literature, and art. Two summer language intensive sessions offer you the opportunity to improve your vocabulary, grammar, and conversation skills.
