Description: Surrounded by Romanesque, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture on a hilltop between the Chienti and Potenza rivers, the medieval walled city of Macerata sits on the eastern edge of Italy. Originally a Roman settlement, Macerata is the perfect location to experience Italian history and culture. Ski, hike, explore underground caverns, relax on the beach, and experience natural thermal baths just minutes from the city center. Immerse yourself in Italian history, language, and culture.
