Malta, the 'island of sunshine and history', is located at the center of the Mediterranean and has a wealth of archaeological, historical and cultural treasures. The University of Malta is located in Msida about 4 miles outside of Valletta, the capital city of Malta, and offers a wide range of courses in a variety of disciplines ranging from art, education, economics, engineering, business, and science, to theology. All courses are taught in English as English and Maltese are both official languages in Malta. You can choose from subjects such as Classics and Archaeology, Communications and Instructional Technology, Contemporary Mediterranean Studies, International Relations, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. USAC students have full use of the university recreational facilities and are members of the Malta University Sports Club and the University Students' Council, which organizes numerous activities for its members throughout the academic year.
Highlights:
In addition to enrolling in the university, students are able to participate fully in university activities, student organizations and sports, and also have full access to the advising, library, and computing facilities at the University of Malta. There are a number of active student groups catering to interests such as politics, sports, the theater, cinema, chess, and the environment. Sports activities available to students on campus include tennis, basketball, volleyball, billiards, table tennis, darts, swimming, soccer, and physical conditioning.
