From the days of its establishment, SANN Research Institute has provided an opportunity for students from Nepal to educate themselves under the U.S. system. This program gives an opportunity to explore, learn, share and exchange perspectives of the east and the west. Many students have benefited from this program and SANN wishes to continue its efforts in providing this avenue to the students around the world. The participants in the exchange programs have been mainly from Nepal. Various universities in the United States accept students under this program. SANN has two specific programs for the students from Nepal under the Students Exchange Program, namely (i) student exchange for enrolment in undergraduate program in general and (ii) twinning program with University of Idaho in undergraduate program in Business Management. General Exchange Program SANN has agreement with the following universities for the student exchange program: - Western Washington University - University of Idaho - Western Kentucky University - Eastern Kentucky University - University of Kansas - University of Montana - Alliant International University - University of Nebraska-Lincoln - Murray State University SANN Also has similar agreement with the following community colleges: - Lexington Community College - Whatcom Community College - Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) - West Kentucky Community & Technical College Many other universities have expressed their interest to participate in this program and SANN is in the process of expanding its base. Twinning Program SANN International College at Kathmandu has been running a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program in affiliation with the Purbanchal University of Nepal. SANN entered into an agreement with the University of Idaho in 2000 for a Twinning Program in business management. Under this twinning program, students from SANN International College are allowed to transfer to the University of Idaho to complete their undergraduate program in business management after completing four semesters in Nepal. In this way, BBA students at SANN International College in Nepal can study remaining two to two and half years in University of Idaho in a discounted fee rate and obtain their bachelor degree.
