Term: Throughout the year
Duration of Program: 1-2 weeks

Description: Throughout the year, the Whitehouse Institute of Design offers a flexible range of short courses in drawing, illustration and design presentation. Sessions are held over five days and are scheduled during holidays. Creative programs focus on Fashion, Interior Decoration and/or Styling & Design Co-ordination. Students are encouraged to build on skills learned in our short courses to follow on with our Bachelor of Design.

Suitable for all ages from high school upwards, the short courses have been based on an educational structure enabling students with little or no drawing and design knowledge to communicate on paper effectively.

The introductory short courses are practical and intensive programs, designed to quickly build student confidence in their abilities to capture design ideas as industry relevant visual presentations.

In the advanced short courses program, students build on the introductory short course outcomes, progressing with activities that further stimulate creativity, while developing specific manual and visual design capabilities.

Graduates of these short courses will qualify for entry into the 3 year Bachelor Degree course following standard application and interview process (minimum age and education qualification will apply).

Each participant will receive a Whitehouse Statement of Attainment on completion of the week.
