Highlights: Ghana is one of the most popular destinations in all of Africa. This is, in part, due to its political, economic and social stability. It has tropical beaches and big game wildlife. It is home to several major tribal cultures, has significant historical slave trade sites and an active music scene. In short, it has a little of everything making it the perfect destination for the student who wants to learn about the complex issues facing a typical developing African nation. At the same time, it provides a rich cultural, historical and social experience.
