Description: Emerging from a history of technical learning, fine arts, business studies and teacher education, UTS has grown to become one of the most diverse educational environments in the country. UTS is located in central Sydney , adjacent to the city's vibrant commercial and cultural hub and surrounded by the cosmopolitan districts of Darling Harbor and Chinatown . A network of creative inner city villages and the spectacular Sydney harbor foreshore are a short walk away. An underground walkway connects the UTS campus to Sydney 's Central Railway station providing students with direct access to the city's beaches and outer suburbs through the expansive public transport network.

Highlights: With central Sydney at their doorstep, UTS students have an opportunity to explore and enjoy the city like no other students in Australia . The restaurants of Chinatown , the city's historic shopping arcades, the major museums, theatres and waterfront parks and the pubs and clubs of the inner city are all an easy walk from the campus.   

On campus, UTS students can join more than 100 cultural, sporting and social clubs and societies. From Debating to Bollywood dancing to Ultimate Frisbee, there is truly something for everyone.   

Study abroad students also have the option to study a number of unique programs at UTS including:
* Aboriginal Cultures and Philosophies: introduces students to Aboriginal culture and social organization and allows students to spend time with an Aboriginal community on the coast south of Sydney .
* Specialized Environmental Sciences studies with field trips to:
   * the desert landscapes of western New South Wales
   * the Great Barrier Reef
   * and the mountains of southern NSW.

Cost Include Description:
Program fees includes tuition for 3-4 subjects, guaranteed pre-arranged housing, AustraLearn Culture and Adventure Program on-site in Cairns, Australia, optional spring break tours, access to a transcript from our U.S. University of Record, affiliate student fee discounts, end of program workshop, university administrative fees, overseas health coverage, all pre-trip services including orientation materials, visa-processing service (excluding the visa fee), personal advising, subject selections, liaison with your home university, credit transfer assistance, financial aid services, and 24-hour assistance while abroad.
