The Summer in Belize: Animal Science program allows pre-veterinary students to study animal health and disease in large and exotic animals. This program is perhaps unique in study abroad, particularly in regard to the ability to work with exotic animals. Student coursework is very hands-on and includes sessions at farms and the Belize zoo. This is a superb summer experience for all pre-veterinary students looking to enhance their capabilities and knowledge about their intended graduate field.
