Description:
The Biotechnology & Biomedicine program is designed for students exploring career opportunities within the biotech research and/or biotech business development. * Insights into biotechnology-based methods for diagnosis and treatment of disease * An understanding of the dynamics of drug discovery and development * A global and interdisciplinary perspective on how biotech research and biotech business work together Students enrolled in the Biotechnology & Biomedicine programs will take one six-credit course and participate in two cultural-educational study tours. Beyond the core course, students are free to select any combination of courses from the DIS curriculum, barring scheduling conflicts.
Highlights:
The Molecular Biology courses are taught at two top research institutions in the Copenhagen area: Roskilde University, Department of Life Sciences and Chemistry, and the Technical University of Denmark, BioCentrum, Center for Microbial Biotechnology.
