The International Business & Economics program is designed for students majoring in business, economics, or related fields. It offers you: * The ability to understand and analyze how businesses operate and create value in the European and global marketplace * Hands-on insight into the European corporate world though cases with real companies and business visits in Denmark and Europe * A solid knowledge of the European business environment, including the EU laws and institutions which regulate business practices and trade Students enrolled in the International Business & Economics program take the core course, European Business Strategy, and participate in two course-integrated study tours. In addition to the core course, students are free to select any combination of courses from the DIS curriculum, barring scheduling conflicts.
Highlights:
Study tours include a short regional study tour to Denmark, southern Sweden or northern Germany early in the semester and a longer European study tour to London-Brussels or Berlin-Prague (your choice) during the first week of the three-week travel break. Tours feature visits to business, economic, government and EU-related institutions. In addition to the study tours, all courses also include field study visits to Danish and international companies and organizations, special interest groups, financial institutions, or marketing firms.
