Description:
Spend the Summer in London with ACCENT and the Coast Community College District (Golden West College). Explore London as it becomes an extension of your classroom while you attend history class with Professor Moore at the ACCENT Center. Participants live in student apartments in central London. The ACCENT London Center also provides support and guidance to students studying abroad.
Highlights:
Cultural learning is an integral part of the Summer in London program. Participants attend on-site lectures at museums and historical sites within and outside London, such as the Churchill War Bunker. Two, one-day field trips to Hampton Court and Brighton or Oxford, as well as a half-day field trip to Greenwich are included in the program. (Field trips are chosen based on the academic curriculum and are subject to change.)

Double or triple rooms in student apartments in central London; Two one-day excursions to places such as Brighton or Oxford and Hampton Court, and one half-day excursion to Greenwich, including transportation and entry fees; A visit to the Churchill War Bunker; Two theater performances including one at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre; Pre-departure and overseas oriengtation program and welcome reception; Overseas information and resource center with ACCENT London on-site staff; Zone 1 & 2 London transit pass; Transfers from and to the London airport for group flight participants.
