Based in Nanjing, China, Yangtze International collaborates with the University of Arizona to provide American college students with a unique study abroad experience. Applications are being accepted now for Summer, Fall, and Spring enrollment. Areas of study include Political Science, Geography & Regional Development, Chinese Language, Chinese Studies, and Business. Most courses provide University of Arizona credit. Bicultural student clubs, activities, group travel opportunities, and social events will allow students to build a network of Chinese and American friends.
Highlights:
Courses Taught by American Faculty: YISA allows students to experience China's rich historical and contemporary cultural traditions while taking courses in business management, political science, geography, regional development, and Chinese language. Most courses are taught in English by University of Arizona faculty who live and teach on site in Nanjing. YISA staff provides a valuable academic experience while offering services that allow students to experience life in China without many of the challenges of living in a developing country. Modern Facilities: Yangtze International Study Abroad is based on the campus of Nanjing Normal University in the heart of Nanjing. The campus includes classrooms, computer labs, exercise and recreational facilities, and several dining halls. The campus is within walking distance of the apartments where students will be living and to many of the contemporary and historical cultural offerings of Nanjing. Build Friendships and a Lifetime Business Network: Bicultural student clubs, activities, group travel opportunities, and social events will allow students to build- a network of Chinese and American friends.
