Description:
Are you a fan of Shakespeare, Arthurian legend or Harry Potter? Join this 6 - week program to the British Isles and experience a summer full of fantastic literature and equally great excursions. Students spend the first 3 weeks living amongst British students at Edge Hill University in the market town of Ormskirk. Enjoy daily excursions in Northern England as well as 5 full days to London. Next, journey to Scotland for a week at some of Scotland's most notorious locations. Explore the Scottish highlands including Inverness, Stirling castle, Edinburgh or cruise Loch Ness to see if you can spy Nessie for yourself. The final week will be spent in Ireland beginning with a tour of the capital city, Dublin. Additional excursions and lecture sites include Trinity College, Sligo, the Yeats Memorial Building, Galway and the Aran Islands.

- Study in 3 different countries - Earn up to 18 credits - Spend 5 days in London - Transfers included between sites - Stay in hotels, dorms and homestays - Extensive student support services * Coursework/Classes England: Students choose 2 courses in English, History, Film and/or International Studies for a total of 6 credits Scotland: Students will receive 3 credits in English or International Studies Ireland: Students will receive 3 credits in English or International Studies * Housing During the first 3 weeks accommodation is provided in on-campus residence halls with British students and other international students. The additional 3 weeks of the program, students will have accommodation arranged in hotels in London as well as various cities in Scotland and Ireland.
