Description: Aliore, WorldWide Workshops organize various wine appreciation workshops in Montpellier, the South of France: initiation to wine through tasting, The wines of Languedoc-Roussillon, Voyage through the wines of France.

Using your eyes, your nose, your mouth you will learn to identify perfumes, flavors and colors, differentiate grapes and soils. You will also learn about the wine-making process and how to read labels and "appellations".

The sessions take place in the historic center of Montpellier and are taught by a confirmed wine expert.

A wander called "Vinorallye", through the historic streets of Montpellier, with three stops to taste wine and meet a winemaker. Including a historic account of the "quarter" plus enigmas with wine as the theme. This evening wander is a way to discover Montpellier's historic heritage.

You will also go on a guided tour of a vineyard and wine cellar in the company of the winemaker and follow it up by sharing the pleasure of tasting the wine in the place of its conception.

ALIORE, Worldwide Workshops's Mission Statement: ALIORE, WorldWide Workshops is an association which organises workshops in such varied domains as wine appreciation, cooking and gastronomy, arts and crafts, local culture, music, dance, etc. throughout the World. Our objective is to develop and promote workshops in activities which are specific to the country or region in which they take place, allowing the participants to soak up the local culture while at the same time developing their skills and knowledge in the chosen activity. Aliore also offer company work placements in the South of France and Hotel work placements in France and in French overseas territories.
