Summer Study in Stirling Scotland

Description: The summer Study Abroad program at the University of Stirling is very similar to the semester session at the same institution. The only differences between these two programs are the length of stay, the number of credits earned, the cost, and the courses available. This program lasts for 8 weeks during the summer and students can earn 5, 7.5, or 10 ISU credits. Each course is worth 5 credits, but there are a limited number of half-credit courses which are worth 2.5 ISU credits. The cost of the program varies depending on the number of credits being taken, and students are required to register for 2 classes.

Summer Study in Stirling Scotland

Highlights: Known as Scotland's most beautiful campus, Stirling is about an hour away from Glasgow and Edinburgh. The 300-acre campus features a lake, the 18th century Aithrey Castle, and the National Wallace monument. The University is situated just outside of Stirling, a royal town at the hub of Scottish history. Students have access to the extensive library, computer facilities, 9-hole golf course and a wide range of indoor and outdoor sports.
