Study Abroad at Victorian College of the Arts
Australia
Term: Throughout the year
Description:
The Victorian College of the Arts is Australia's premier visual and performing arts training institution. Located on a nine acre site in the heart of Melbourne's vibrant arts precinct, the College is unique in Australia as it offers training across all artistic disciplines. The VCA comprises the Schools of Art, Dance, Drama , Film & Television, Music, and Production. The VCA has a dedicated Indigenous centre (Wilin Centre for Indigenous Arts and Cultural Development) and a common curriculum is offered to all undergraduate students through The Centre for Ideas. The teaching philosophy of the College reflects a long held belief that learning comes from doing. As the tuition is practical, intensive and studio-based, class sizes are small, places are limited and admission is competitive. VCA degrees are conferred by the University of Melbourne.
