Concerned about the limited natural resources in the world? How we can protect these resources? And how sustainable development can be applied in a developing country? Then this semester abroad program is for you! Get hands on experience in Belize, which has the largest Barrier Reefs in the Western Hemisphere, unspoiled beaches, rivers, rainforests and other great areas of environmental interest and importance. Belize is in one of the most protected and bio-diverse ecosystems on Earth. As a developing country, it offers rich examples of the importance of sustainable development for emerging issues of globalization, environmental protection, economic growth, poverty reduction and human rights.
