In this intensive 4-week summer course students study a selected group of royal palaces in and around London. Using these exceptional collections as a focal point, students examine the architecture and history of each palace and its collections of paintings and decorative art. Lectures, complemented with first-hand study on frequent site visits, look at royal taste and collecting from the Renaissance to the 19th century.
