Description:
Students have the unique opportunity to enroll in two eight-week courses of study in Russian language and culture in St. Petersburg. The courses, Russian Language and Russian Culture, will be taught in New Haven for the first three weeks and in St. Petersburg for the last five weeks. An intensive "at-home-and-abroad" course featuring language study at either the second- or third-year level of Russian. Students receive language training in New Haven, developing skills that are then applied during time spent in Russia. Students are responsible for all travel expenses to and from St. Petersburg, costs of room and board while in New Haven, and any other expenses beyond tuition. Application deadline: April 1. Enrollment limited.
