Explore Ireland and Irish culture at one of the leading universities in the UK, Queen's University Belfast. Choose from thousands of courses and earn academic credit while studying alongside Irish and British students. In less than a day's journey from the University, you can venture out from Belfast to Scotland, England, Wales, or Ireland and explore all that this unique region has to offer.
Highlights:
The campus is located on the attractive south side of the city of Belfast. One of the city's best known thoroughfares is the so-called 'Golden Mile'. This area, right beside the campus, is packed with restaurants, bars, cafes, clubs and cinemas, and is popular with students and young people throughout the year. Activities: There is an extensive range of student clubs and societies available to students. In addition, the campus offers some of the best sporting facilities for students in Ireland. Visiting students with an interest in sports will benefit from the unique status of the University as part of both the UK and Irish network of universities. Students who are able to make sports teams will have the opportunity to represent the University in British, Irish and even European varsity competitions.
