Description: Discover why so much of what we purchase is made in China. Through a marketing perspective, this seminar will help you appreciate the rapid transformation currently taking place in China. Students spend time in both China's historic capital city of Beijing and its economic nerve center Shanghai.

Excursions
Excursions include trips to factories, a container shipping port, local markets, Chinese firms, the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and much more. There is a multi-day field trip to Shanghai to visit places such as the Shanghai Museum, the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center and the Yuyuan Garden. Transportation to Shanghai is facilitated by Chinas extensive railroad network. Students have the exciting opportunity to take the overnight train to and from Beijing, relaxing comfortably in a sleeper car.
