Summer Liberal Arts and Elective Program at Westminster University with GSE

Through GSE's summer program at the University of Westminster, students have the ability to take the full curriculum offered which includes a variety of courses in the Liberal Arts. Students will select one course to take for the duration of their three week program. Courses are generally worth 15 University of Westminster credits which equates to 4 US semester credits. Course schedules vary, but most meet Monday-Thursday, 3 hours a day in the morning for 12 contact hours per week. Students may study courses in such subjects as Literature, Political Science, History, and Sociology, among others. Students will work with a GSE advisor to select their course before departing for their program. For more information consult a GSE program advisor.

Since it's foundation in 1838 as Britain's first polytechnic, the University of Westminster has been closely involved in the business, professional and academic life of London. Located in the "West End" of London, the university provides diverse course offerings in one of the more lively areas within the cosmopolitan central districts of London. Each year, 2,500 international students join an overall student body of over 20,000 students. As a student at the University of Westminster you will have access to university sports facilities, student's union, career services, counseling and advisory services, chaplaincy, and membership at the International Student House.

Every student who participates on a Global Student Experience program receives enrollment and official transcript from an internationally accredited foreign university, housing in shared-student apartments, weekend excursions, cultural events, student health insurance, a pre-paid cellular phone, onsite program directors, and much more!
