  • Buenos Aires

Term: Fall, Spring, Winter
Dates: Spring: early February-early July; Fall: late June-mid-November

Description: The program combines intensive language instruction with liberal arts courses emphasizing economic and political history of Argentina, as well as Argentine and Latin American literature, media studies, the arts and intellectual thought. Students earn up to 18 credits per semester. The first four weeks of the semester will consist of intensive Spanish instruction. Students will then have the option of taking courses taught in English or courses taught in Spanish, plus a reinforcing Spanish class. Advanced Spanish speakers may take direct enrollment courses from the Universidad de Belgrano. This program is intended for students at all levels of Spanish, provided they are of sophomore through senior standing and have at least a 2.5 GPA.

Highlights: Buenos Aires, the sprawling capital of Argentina, is known as the Paris of South America.
