The on-campus housing at any of the ECU campuses is self-catered, meaning that students will need to cook for themselves in the fully equipped kitchen in their flat. Each housing unit also has two bathrooms and a lounge that are shared among six students, each of which has a single bedroom. Most of the on-campus units are mixed gender with 3 females and 3 males sharing a unit.
