Description:
Program Overview The Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy is proud to offer the only comprehensive Massage Therapy Certification Program in Costa Rica. The 540 hour Certification Program is designed to prepare students to successfully pass the United States National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork Exam. Individuals who pass this exam are qualified to pursue many career opportunities available to Massage Therapists. This program has been designed to efficiently and effectively transform and improve the lives of our students. Graduates will have all the tools and knowledge necessary to have a successful career as a Massage Therapist and offer services as a proficient holistic health care practitioner. Total Immersion This unique program is for English speaking students who wish to study massage abroad in a beautiful and exotic environment. Organized as a four month intensive "boot camp", sessions are offered two times per year. The program accommodates student's housing and some meals. Students live at the CRSMT campus in beach dorms located at the tropically lush private CRSMT campus in the beautiful and secluded beach town of Samara. Lectures and Classes are held in various special "classrooms": on the beach, on a large beautiful covered deck overlooking the jungle canopy, and in the school clinic located in town. The class takes a field excursion to Nicaragua in the third quarter. A Rigorous Program In order to complete the training necessary to meet the requirements of the National Certification Board, many schools will pace the curriculum over the course of six months to one year. CRSMT and it's students are able to realize an equal level of achievement in a shorter amount of time. This is because the students are totally immersed in this intensive program. Free from the constraints, stress and distractions of everyday life, the environment is supportive to transformation, personally, academically and professionally. Every day of the four month program has been designed to support and accelerate the evolution of each student.
