Southern Cross is ideally located on the north coast of New South Wales and known for its wonderful rainforest and unspoiled beaches. Lismore is a small university city with all the big-city services but with a far more relaxed atmosphere. It is located only 45 minutes away from Byron Bay and only 90 minutes by car from the Gold Coast. Travel is extremly accessable by bus, train, and flights offered to every major city. "SUNY Brockport study abroad programs are for students matriculated in the US only, US students only."
Highlights:
Participants in the Brockport University of Southern Cross Program will be met upon arrival by Brockport's Resident Director and will spend several days in Sydney prior to the start of the university's orientation. This allows students time to overcome jetlag, explore Sydney, and become familiar with life in Australia. This orientation includes a program of field trips, activities, and social events. The cost of the orientation is included in the program fees.
