Description:
Education Central Europe's six-week program in Prague is designed to appeal to a broad selection of students, especially those whose studies are concentrated in the fields of art history, architecture, humanities, political science, international studies, economics, world literature, and all areas of European history. Once in Prague, students will participate in a two-day orientation to the city and its culture and history, including an in-depth, guided walking tour. In addition to the normal selection of course offerings, all students will be enrolled in the Summer Lecture Series, featuring prominent speakers from the leading edge of Czech and European politics, culture, and civil society. Past speakers have included the first Foreign Minister of Czechoslovakia, the former Mayor of Prague, members of the Czech Senate and European Parliament, representatives of the European Commission, and noted authors.
