Description: Join us this summer and live in a "Tropical Paradise" in Costa Rica! You will participate in a five week program that offers a varied selection of credit courses and excursions to places as Arenal Volcano, the Pacific Beaches of Quepos, and the chance to travel extensively throughout the country.

The core of the program is a five week stay in San Ramon. In keeping with the purpose of the UNO-COSTA RICA program, courses taught are those enhanced by the setting in Costa RIca and Central America. A concerted effort will be made in all courses to reinforce the classroom instruction with the rich cultural, social, historical, and ecological surrounding.

* Spanish 1002 - Basic Spanish 2nd semester

Highlights: Field Trips and Travel
An integral part of the UNO-Costa Rica program will be a number of official academic field trips that will be organized for each class by the professors and the staff. You will also have two full weekend excursions included in the program. Each year we explore beautiful locations around the country of Costa Rica such as the rainforest, the active volcanoes or the Pacific beaches. Students who have an interest in expanding their travel experience in Costa Rica will have plenty of free time to explore the country.
