Anglia Ruskin University offers a range of high quality courses in the beautiful, world-famous city of Cambridge and the historic town of Chelmsford, both within an hour from London. The University has a history dating back to 1858 when the Cambridge campus was opened as a School of Art. Today the University has 5 academic faculties which offer a wide range of subjects and courses. There are over 25,000 students at Anglia Ruskin, including students from a wide range of other countries in Europe and around the world.
Highlights:
The University is located in the east of England, and offers a wide range of courses to study abroad students. Anglia Ruskin is uniquely placed to offer Study Abroad students a truly European experience as part of their University education, with mainland Europe easily accessible by rail, road or air. Anglia Ruskin has campuses in Cambridge, the world-famous university centre and one of England's most historic cities, and Chelmsford, which is located just outside London. Both campuses have a range of support services for students; library, computer facilities, sports facilities, academic and pastoral advice (all students are allocated a 'personal tutor') and accommodation services. Cambridge is a world famous university centre and one of the loveliest cities in Britain. As part of the academic community, students have the chance to enjoy the theatres, cinemas, other cultural activities and riverside pubs. Chelmsford is a modern but still provincial town. The town has some fine buildings including a 15th century cathedral but is more famous for its cricket ground, home of Essex County Cricket Club. All types of accommodation are available for students. This includes either sharing a house with other students, living in a halls of residence or living with an English family. Students are invited to contact the International Office for further information.
