The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University can help you achieve an incomparable study abroad experience at the University of Westminster. The University, which sits right in the heart of London, offers a full array of subject offerings from anatomy to studio art and has earned particular distinction for its programs in communications, media, and design. You can select courses from the University's wide choice of offerings and study alongside British students. Courses may be selected among various departments. You will earn the following hours of credit. * Fall and spring semester: 16 credits. * Academic year: 32 credits. Admission Requirements GPA Requirements: 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale. The Harrow School requires a 3.3 GPA. You must be in good academic standing and not on disciplinary probation. You need to submit a complete application including a transcript, letter of recommendation, and an advisor's form before your application will be considered. Once you arrive, our resident director will lead an orientation program in London that will introduce you to the culture, history and politics of England as well as prepare you for the academic challenges of studying in a different educational system. During the semester, you can expect to participate in excursions that are designed to allow you to reflect on the learning that is taking place outside the classroom. It's almost impossible to explain in words the educational and cultural experience that study abroad can be, but you can be sure that Arcadia is there to help you get the most out of that experience. Westminster's School of Communications and Creative Industries is considered one of the largest, best-equipped and most prestigious centers of learning in the UK for studies in art and design, photography, fashion, film, music, journalism, and mass communication. During your studies at the University of Westminster, you'll become a fully enrolled member of the student body and have the opportunity to experience British higher education and student life first-hand.
