The London you'll discover on this unique study abroad program is London Now, a contemporary, multicultural, global powerhouse of history, literature, politics, and society. It's a place to be experienced as it unfolds, a place where you can also get a cutting-edge understanding of business, law, environmental studies, art, design, culture, and much more. Arcadia embodies this world-leading seat of culture, commerce, and expanding knowledge in a curriculum that gives you a choice of ways to learn -- provided in specially-taught classes, at a renowned metropolitan university, and at a prestigious college of fashion Through courses, internships, field study, and studio work, students learn not just about what London has to offer, but also about what they have to offer London -- so that studying abroad becomes the best experience possible. These tracks consist of pertinent combinations of London Now, City University, and London College of Fashion options. These suggested tracks assist students in navigating the vast assortment of courses on offer.Though it is not required that students opt for a track, Arcadia's academic experts have designed courses of study specifically in the areas of: * Arts and Fine Arts * Cultural and Historical Studies * Criminology and Law * Economics and Finance * Fashion and Design * Literature and Art Studies * Media Studies and Journalism * Political Science and Current Affairs * Psychology * Sociology Learn more about individual study tracks, and about Arcadia-taught courses on offer. Credits Past Participant ButtonStudents have to take at least one Arcadia course. You will earn the following hours of credit. * Fall semester: 16-18 credits. * Spring semester: 16-18 credits. * Academic year: 29-32 credits. Admission Requirements GPA Requirements: 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale. You must be in good academic standing and not on disciplinary probation. You need to submit a complete application including a transcript, letter of recommendation, and an advisor's form before your application will be considered.

An Arcadia program isn't just about enrolling you in an overseas institution however. It's about all of the services that we provide. Before you go, you can contact our program manager for advice on the application process, choosing courses, or simply what you should pack. Once you arrive, our resident director will lead an orientation program in London that will introduce you to the culture, history and politics of England as well as prepare you for the academic challenges of studying in a different educational system. During the semester, you can expect to participate in excursions that are designed to allow you to reflect on the learning that is taking place outside the classroom.
