Abroadco's study abroad program in Cannes allows students of all language levels to study French language and culture at the International College de Cannes. You will and go to school in the heart of the French Riviera. Academics While studying French language, students are placed in one of 17 different language levels. Quarter and semester students have the option to take courses in the humanities and social sciences, taught in both French and English. Semester students can earn up to 18 hours and summer students can earn up to 5 hours of credit. As a student of the International College de Cannes, you will earn an official certificate at the end of your studies. Services Abroadco's excellent student service begins the moment you contact us. We help you with every aspect of planning your experience, including course selection, travel planning, working with your home institution, and providing you with an orientation on living and studying abroad. When you arrive in Cannes, our resident director will greet you at the airport and provide onsite orientation during the first few days of your stay. Throughout your program, you'll enjoy Abroadco's many activities and excursions. Activities include visiting museums in Cannes and Nice, exploring the street market, relaxing on the famous beaches, and sampling southern French cooking at one of the many cafes. Excursions visit such destinations as Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Gorges du Verdon, and Monaco. Once your program has ended, we will continue to work with you as you transfer your credits to your home institution and readjust to life at home. Housing and Meals You will live in the College's residence hall, enjoying breakfast and lunch daily as part of your program. The residence hall allows students to live on campus and have access to social coordinators, a computer lab, snack bar, and recreational facilities, while at the same time being in very close proximity to all the attractions of the city. Cannes Cannes offers students the opportunity to live in one of the most glamorous cities in the world. Although most famous for its renowned film festival, Cannes is one of the most accessible cities on the French Riviera, offering students a relaxed atmosphere where you can stroll down a tree lined boardwalk or play on sandy beaches, all while studying French language and culture. Cote D' Azur A region of artists and culture, the Cote d'Azur offers many destinations for daytrips and weekend getaways. France's most famous beaches are in this region, along with the Gorged du Verdon, Europe's deepest and widest canyon. At any time of year, the Cote d'Azur offers a variety of activities, from sunbathing and cycling to museums and parfumeries.
