Description: All-inclusive affordable study abroad programs at the University of Barcelona, founded in 1450. Classes are taught by native instructors. Transcripts are issued by the fully accredited University of Barcelona and are accompanied by an English letter of translation. API offers semester, summer and academic year intensive language and Hispanic studies programs.

Highlights: Barcelona (pop. 1,600,000): a city of contradictions; old and new intertwined, beautiful yet industrial, traditional and avant-garde. Located in the northeastern region of Catalunya, it is bordered by France to the north and the Mediterranean Sea to the east. Barcelona is the largest province (and city) in the region and was once a major site of power, industrialism, and art in southern Europe. Barcelona is an incredible destination for study abroad. It is here that the student can learn and observe the beauty, history, and unique culture of the region of Catalunya while learning Spanish!
